“ We stumbled upon Litchfield Pizza when touring New England. Dont be put off by the appearance its a pizza parlor after all, with the fluorescent lights to prove it. But the menu is broad and varied, and the prices are reasonable. The daily soup was chicken with orzo. It was fabulous perfectly seasoned, with handshredded pieces of chicken and savory broth. My wife ordered ziti with white clam sauce and I had the meatball grinder. She loved her pasta, and shes really picky. The clams were freshly sauteed and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The grinder was the best Ive had. The soft roll soaked up the marinara but didnt fall apart, the meatballs were nicely seasoned but not spicy, and the marinara was delicious. No beer, wine or liquor sold here, unfortunately. But the foods good enough to make up for it. Im a bit snobby about food but Ill tell you, if youre ever in Litchfield, dont miss eating here. ”
